The Euro-American SOHO spacecraft has been studying the sun from space for over 12 years. SOHO has taken numerous images and made outstanding discoveries about the sun.

Aymen Ibrahem, BA Senior Astronomy Specialist, presents a  virtual space exploration of the sun, our mother star, through the exquisite images of SOHO. The lecture discusses the sun's size, structure, how it produces energy, and the instruments and technology with which SOHO studies the Sun.
