The International Friends of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina will hold their Ninth Annual Meeting from 1–3 November 2006.
The theme of the meeting will be ‘Partnerships for Sustainability (2)’, where the Friends will discuss Specific Programs and Projects for Excellence of the Library, Strategies for the International Friends, and Joining Efforts for the Acquisition of the Patrologiae Cursus Completus.
The meeting will also include a poetry reading session, and a presentation of a book entitled Music of Venezuela Through Perspectives of Immortality by the eminent American Musicologist, Professor Sharon E. Girard.
