The Tohoty Institute for Egyptian Studies endorses Farouk Albaz' proposal to build a superhighway west of the Nile from the Mediterranean Sea coastline to Lake Nasser. It is one of the most significant proposals that deals with the phenomenon of inefficient land-use, the phenomenon that has had numerous adverse effects on the contemporary Egyptian society. As it welcomes all constructive projects, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina holds a two-days conference on ALbaz' Proposal.
