Alex Med is commemorating, in cooperation with the British Council, the 50th anniversary of the publication of Justine, a novel by Lawrence Durrell and the first book of the Alexandria Quartet. The event will involve readings by renowned contemporary writers, a viewing of a Justine feature film, a roundtable discussion concerning the preservation of Lawrence Durrell’s house and lectures on Durrell’s life and work in Alexandria. Click here for the program.
