The International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development (IVD) was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly.
The UN system, governments, and civil society organizations have successfully gathered volunteers from around the world to celebrate the International Volunteer Day on December 5.
The celebration will include presentations and a reception.
