The film tells the story of Elizabeth Bennet’s mother, whose one goal in life is to see Elizabeth and her four sisters married to rich husbands. As suitors come and go, Elizabeth has to learn to swallow her pride, while Mr. Darcy struggles to swallow his prejudice, in order for them to give love a chance.
