This lecture is organized by the BA Sinnari House (Cairo) in cooperation with the Heritage Documentation Department (Egyptian Sector). The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Mohamed Abdelrahman Hamdan, Professor of Archaeological Geology and Head of the Geology Department at the Faculty of Science, Cairo University.
The lecture will discuss how the ancient Egyptian civilization was impacted by climate change through geological and geo-archaeological studies, as well as the relation between Egyptians and the flooding of the Nile and its impact on Egyptian civilization during its prosperity and decline.
