The Village of Hope for Development and Rehabilitation of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, is organizing the event, in which Nick Vujicic, a motivational speaker and the director of “Life Without Limbs”, an organization that is for the physically disabled will talk about his career and defiance of disability.
The celebration will include speeches by General Adel Labib, Governor of Alexandria, and Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, and Dr. Fathy Abu-Ayana will also present successful Egyptian models, who challenged their disability and succeeded in different areas of life. A group of disabled from the Village of Hope in Alexandria will present an operetta entitled “Innocence and Tenderness”, followed by a lecture entitled “Rights of people with disability..Reality vs. Law” delivered by Dr. Alaa Sebeh, Program and Advocacy Manager “Save the Children UK”.
