As part of the Egyptian Italian year of Science 2009, the Library of Alexandria, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy, will host an exhibition entitled "Blow-Up, Images from the Nano-world" featuring images from the nano-world bringing to the public images that are usually accessible to few, mainly confined in the research laboratories, on the scientists' desks. It aims at sharing part of scientists’ knowledge about this hidden world, and mostly a lot of their own sense of wonder.
