The phenomena of new urban communities had been emphasized in the beginning of the twentieth century; many countries had evolved such an idea as this was foreseen as the proper solution for overcrowded urban agglomeration through establishing new urban communities that provide job opportunities, housing and services in a healthy environment.
After thirty years of the Egyptian experiences in new urban communities, it is time to evaluate these experiences with their success and failure issues, opportunities and threats, in order to capitalize the current and potential resources in parallel with what was achieved through the economic and legislative restructuring looking forward to a more promising future.
