Mr. Heim has designed formerly French Luxury brand flagship stores in New York and Paris and world-famous venues such as the Capitol Music Theater in Frankfurt Offenbach, the Luxor Palace in Dresden, Brasserie La Lorraine restaurant in Paris and Thalassa restaurant in New York ,villas in Miami , along with luxury resorts and entertainment centers, such as the Coral Beach Club resort in Sint Maarten, luxury villas in Greece, and undergoing projects such as the Gu Resort in Pagan, Myanmar, Las Velas Resort and Marina in Luperon, Dominican Republic and in Cuba for East Havana new tourist destination .
In addition to his work as an architect, Mr. Heim is also a French foreign trade advisor with in-depth knowledge of international markets, able to act as a liaison between American, Chinese and European businesses seeking to operate on both sides of the Atlantic, and China.
In this lecture, the international architect Jean-Pierre Heim will talk about the immerging symbolism in architecture and design, and how to look deeper into forms and functions presenting his new vision of a project for the new concept design for the Delos Museum in Greece with his daughter architect Carolyn Heim. Their philosophy is to reunify geography, climate and culture, for example, an eco-tourist village aims to transform an existing native village in China into a modern eco-resort that offers a variety of activities and spaces. In this project they have approached the redesign of this eco-tourist village using the “One Belt, One Road” development strategy that focuses on the connectivity and cooperation between China and the rest of Eurasia.
Mr. Jean-Pierre Heim is always working on projects that aim to connect the past and the future without neglecting the present such as rebranding one of the largest shopping mall operator group, to become one of the most important one in China focused on the Silk Road identity design.
