Siemens jointly with the German University in Cairo, (GUC) are collaborating to introduce to schools in Egypt the “Discovery Box” to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the School Children in Alexandria.
The “Discovery Box” is developed by Siemens Generation 21 as an experiment kit for pupils from KG1 to Grade 2. It includes experiment sets on “Energy & Electricity” and “Environment & Health”. Volunteer trained GUC students and Computer Science Students from Cairo University will demonstrate these hands-on experiments to your pupils at your school; serving two purposes, the experiments help awaken the interest of children in science and technology, and support the teachers by equipping them with material and simple interesting experiments in this area.
