Video-conference between Alexandria, Brussels, Leuven and Paris
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, an international video-conference will take place for approaching the relation between universal rights and the derived duties and responsibilities towards a culture of peace and knowledge in an interdisciplinary way.
Key issues discussed at the event will be the development of a globally intellectual solidarity by Wikipedia, advances towards a Culture of Peace worldwide, and UNESCO’s philosophy on rethinking rights and responsibilities, emphasizing the universal right to education, freedom of expression, enjoyment of scientific advances and cultural rights.
