The BA Antiquities Museum and the Zahi Hawass Center of Egyptology are organizing a lecture entitled “Significance and Meaning of Pottery Decorations during the Predynastic Period in Egypt”, delivered by Prof. Nageh Omar Ali, Professor of Archaeology and Ancient Egyptian Civilization, at the Faculty of Archaeology, Fayoum University. It will take place on Sunday, 30 April 2023, at 1:00 pm, in the BACC Meeting Room (C).
The lecture sheds light on the importance of pottery as a source of knowledge of the details of the daily life of human groups in ancient times, the artistic taste of human communities in predynastic periods in Egypt, as well as the evolution of this art in general.
