The BA Center for Islamic Civilization Studies organizes a lecture entitled «From Roots to Fruits: the Employment of Artificial Intelligence Applications in Futuristic Studies of Islamic Architectural Heritage». The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Samer El-Sayary, Assistant Professor of Architecture at Beirut Arab University on a secondment from Alexandria University, and will will take place on Wednesday, 10 July 2024; from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, in the BACC Delegates Hall.
The lecture will discuss the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the study and preservation of Islamic architectural heritage. Dr. Samer El-Sayary will examine the use of artificial intelligence applications in the understanding, analysis, and reproduction of architectural elements of Islamic architecture, including minarets, domes, and arches.
