Launched by CRDF Global, the GIST Initiative builds upon its vision of “peace and prosperity through scientific collaboration”. Critical to this vision is the fostering of invention, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the commercialization of technology in the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia regions.
Representatives from government, non-profit, academia, and industry sectors will convene to develop concrete strategies to advance technology commercialization in key areas such as agriculture, health, information technology, and energy.
