The Writing and Scripts Center, affiliated with the Academic Research Sector, and the Antiquities Museum, affiliated with the Cultural Outreach Sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (Egypt), in collaboration with scholars from Indiana University Bloomington (USA), Harvard University (USA), the University of California, Berkeley (USA), and the University of Naples “L’Orientale” (Italy), are pleased to announce the international conference:

“Ancient Egypt – New Technology 3” (AENT3)
Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center, Alexandria, Egypt.
17–20 May 2026.

Building on the success of previous editions held in Indiana (2019) and Naples (2023), this third conference will bring together leading experts, scholars, and enthusiasts to explore how modern technologies are transforming our understanding of ancient Egyptian heritage.

Hosted by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, AENT3 offers a unique interdisciplinary platform to discuss innovative approaches in the study, preservation, and presentation of ancient Egypt using cutting-edge technologies.
