AIDS: The Disease of the Modern Age

Alexandria— the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) is holding a series of lectures on education, environment, and population growth. In this context, the center is organizing on Tuesday, 5 December 2006, a lecture entitled “AIDS: The Disease of the Modern Age” by Dr. Salah Soliman, Professor of Pesticide Chemistry and Toxicology, Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University. During the lecture, Dr. Salah will define AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome), HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), means of prevention, recent medical discoveries, and treatment of this disease.

The lecture will start at 16:00 hrs at the BA Auditorium.
