Algerian Minister of Youth and Sports Visits the BA

Mr. Hachemi DJIAR, Minster of Youth and Sports in Algeria, accompanied by a senior delegation visited the BA on Sunday, 11 November 2007, as one of the cultural and scientific landmarks in Egypt and the entire world.
Ambassador Hagar Islambouly, Head of the BA External Relations Sector accompanied the delegation in a tour of the Library, its affiliated exhibitions and museums, and different services offered by the BA to members and visitors. The tour included the Manuscripts Museum, the Digital Lab, the Internet Archive, VISTA, the Planetarium Science Center, and the Alexploratorium.
HE Mr. Hachemi DJIAR much admired the Library and looked forward for more cultural cooperation between his country and the BA. At the end of his tour, he wished the BA more success in the coming period.
