Italian and Egyptian Ministers of Transportation Visit the BA

HE Alessandro Bianchi, Italian Minister of Transportation. and his counterpart HE Mohamed Mansour, Egyptian Minister of Transportation will visit the BA on Monday, 10 December 2007, as a major scientific and cultural complex not only in Egypt and the Middle East, but in the entire world.
Ambassador Hagar Islambouly, Head of the BA External Relations Sector, will accompany the delegation in a tour of the Library, its affiliated exhibitions and museums, and different services offered by the BA to members and visitors. The tour will include the Manuscripts Museum, the Digital Lab, the Internet Archive, VISTA, the Planetarium Science Center, and the Alexploratorium. The two Ministers will also review the latest projects of the BA, especially digitization of heritage and access to knowledge.
