President of the Czech Republic Visits the BA

HE Mr. Vaclav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic accompanied by a senior delegation will visit the BA on Wednesday, 9 April 2008, as a major scientific and cultural complex not only in Egypt and the Middle East, but in the entire world.
Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, and Ambassador Hagar Islambouly, Head of the BA External Relations Sector, will accompany the President on a tour of the Library, its affiliated exhibitions and museums, and will introduce the different services offered by the BA to its members and visitors. The tour will include the Manuscript and Rare Books Museum, the Antiquities Museum, the Digital Lab, the Internet Archive, VISTA, the Planetarium, the ALEXploratorium, and Culturama.
