“Dilemmas of the Contemporary Opposition Press” in a Seminar at the BA

The BA Dialogue Forum is organizing a seminar on Saturday, 7 June 2008, entitled “Dilemmas of the Contemporary Opposition Press”. Mr. Salah Eissa, Editor in Chief of Alkahera Newspaper will speak in the Seminar chaired by Dr. Fathi Abou Ayana, Professor, Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University.
Journalist Salah Eissa will speak on the limits of freedom of press, freedom of expression and criticism, and how journalists exploit the authority of press to express their opinions. He will also discuss how can the opposition press serve as a tool for dialogue, criticism and guidance.
The Dialogue Forum holds two seminars monthly tackling different areas of knowledge and science, and hosting senior Arab and Egyptian officials, intellectuals, and scientists.
The Seminar will start at 19:30 hrs at the BA Conference Center, Lectures Hall.
