The Child & Adolescent Creative Unit 2008 Summer Program

The Art Center is organizing a series of workshops for children ages (5-16). The workshops will start from 1 July to 30 August 2008, and will be held in Alexandria Atelier, 6 Victor Basil street, Azarita.
The workshops will cover a wide range of artistic, including:
• Plastic Arts: collages, plasticine, papier-mâché figures, throwing on the wheel pottery, mosaics, and photography.
• Cinema: showing a variety of films for children along with specialized discussions.
• Music: a music workshop that aims to teach children the basics and different kinds of music.
• Theatre: a theatrical workshop that will give children the opportunity to learn how to make puppets show.
The Center will also organize a workshop for making lanterns for the Holy Month of Ramadan (September 2008), and a workshop for making paper kites, especially that we live in the coastal city of Alexandria.
