The World Aids Day Campaign at the BA

The Library of Alexandria, the Egyptian AIDS Society, and the World Bank Public Information Center (PIC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Population, are launching the World Aids Day Campaign (1 December 2008), on Wednesday, 26 November 2008, through organizing a press conference at the Small Theater, BA Conference Center, from 9 hrs to 15 hrs.
Social, media leaders, (from the press, radio, and Egyptian TV and satellite channels) and a group of experts and representatives of international and national bodies and ambassadors of goodwill will participate in this event.
The World Aids Day is an international day that is held every year to shed lights on this critical problem by implementing a range of different activities that achieve prevention, care and reduce discrimination against people living with HIV, and encourage communities to take additional actions and measures that strengthen efforts in this area.
