The BA Hosts a Book Exchange Festival

Alexandria—The BA hosts the Second Book Exchange Festival from 8 to 11 November 2009, under the title ”Let Knowledge be Free Everywhere”. The Festival is organized in cooperation with Dar El-Kotob, the first Egyptian website concerned with Arabic books.
The Book Exchange Festival is held in Alexandria for the first time in an aim to exchange or sell books in affordable prices, in addition to displaying a collection of rare or out-of-print books.
The Festival also includes cultural activities and seminars hosting established and young authors, as well as public competitions. The BA also offers a special rate on all its publications. Other publishing houses also had special offers.

The Festival takes place from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at the BACC.
