To Kill A Mockingbird in a Play Reading at the BA

Alexandria— The Reference Services Unit is holding its monthly play reading in English on Wednesday, 9 December 2009. Participants will read To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, dramatized by Christopher Sergel.
Set in the America of the 1930s, the play narrates the story of an African-American who was discriminatorily accused of raping a white woman.
This play reading is part of the activities of The Big Read Egypt/U.S. , a cultural project including various public events around a selected novel.
The session starts at 16:00 hrs. at the BA Arts and Multimedia Library. Participants should register their names at the General Information Desk at the Library entrance.
