Serageldin Lectures at the Supreme Council of Culture

Alexandria—Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, gave a lecture in the Supreme Council of Culture, Cairo, on Sunday, 7 February 2010, entitled “The Seven Pillars of the Knowledge Revolution”.
Addressing many prominent personalities as well as a great number of young people, Serageldin spoke about the immense advances in technology that the world is witnessing today and how the new technology has transformed the shape of knowledge into a continuously live and ever-changing process. He explained the seven pillars of this new knowledge that should be understood in order to keep along with this developed world of ours.
