The BA organizes BioVisionAlexandria 2010 Conference from 12 to 15 April 2010, with the participation of more than 2000 eminent scientists and researchers, including five Nobel Laureates, and a number of students and others who are interested in the field.
The theme of BioVisionAlexandria 2010 is “New Life Sciences: Future Prospects”. It aims to identify the new frontiers in life sciences that will vastly serve humanity. The Conference will focus on three major themes: Health, Food and Agriculture, and Environment. Each of these themes will be addressed by representatives of the greatest minds in industry, science, policy-makers and civil society fields.
The Fifth International Conference, BioVisionAlexandria 2010, is held as a continuation of the tradition that started in BioVision 1999 in Lyon, France. The BA holds the BioVisionAlexandria every even year, alternating with the World Life Science Forum held in Lyon every other odd year.
On the fringe lines of the Conference, TWAS/BioVisionAlexandria.NXT(BVA.NXT) is held on 10 and 11 April 2010, with the participation of 100 young researchers below the age of 35 and holding a Masters or PhD.
