“My GIS Project” and “What is GIS?” Competitions: Call for Application

On the occasion of the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day, the BA Map Library, in cooperation with Esri Northeast Africa, organizes two competitions: “My GIS Project” and “What is GIS?”.
The first competition is open to postgraduate students and researchers, individuals or teams, of public and private universities in Egypt, who are applying GIS concepts in their projects. The second competition is open only for undergraduate students interested in GIS.
Deadline for application is 12 December 2010.
