The BA Mourns His Holiness Pope Shenouda III

It is with great sorrow that the BA mourns the loss of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the Orthodox Church of Egypt.
Egypt will miss one of its best men who has, throughout his life, sought to maintain its national unity and defend the main concerns of Egypt and the Arab countries at large. His Holiness will always be remembered as a faithful son of Egypt and a role model for wisdom, insight and moderation. He has always strived to contain sectarian tension, especially in the most critical of times.
May His Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
