The BA Organizes the Annual Schools Competition

The BA Young People’s Library, in cooperation with the Francophone Youth Initiative, organizes the Annual Schools Competition under the title “Breaking the Cultural Barriers.” The competition is held on Wednesday, 27 February 2019.
About 200 students from more than 15 schools in Alexandria took part in this competition which started last October and featured the participation of students in training programs that allowed them to gain knowledge on the history, cultures, customs and traditions of different countries. They also had the opportunity to take part in models that simulate various European parliaments, in addition to attending workshops, with the aim of acquiring different life skills. Moreover, the competition includes screenings of short films edited by students. The films provide information on a particular country on which they also made a book.
The competition is sponsored by the BA Friends, Institut français d'Egypte, Goethe-Institut, the Egyptian American Book Center and New Horizons Training Center.
