Serageldin at the Euroscience Open Forum 2012

Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, chaired the session entitled “Partnership between Africa and Europe: Science for Economic Development” that was organized within the EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) on 14 July 2012 in Dublin, the City of Science 2012.
In his speech, Serageldin stressed the importance of linking science with public policies, economic development and the standard of living, which highlights the aim of the session, namely sharing African and European experiences in that regard.
