Training for Library and Information Science Students

The BA Information Services Department offered a practical training on librarianship for the students of the Library and Information Science Department, Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University.
From 8 to 19 July 2012, a group of 20 students had an internship at the BA, during which they were trained on the technicalities of library and information services using the most advanced libraries technologies.
Preceded by a series of orientation sessions, the training is part of an outreach program offered by the BA Library Sector, for the community of librarians in Egypt and the Arab world.
