Documenting the Life and Works of Gamal Hemdan

Within its efforts to document the works of eminent Egyptian personalities, the BA has recently received a valuable donation from General Abd El-Azeem Hemdan, brother of Dr. Gamal Hemdan, the renowned Arab Geographer, which includes the works of Gamal Hemdan, unpublished documents and manuscripts in his own handwriting, his certificates of appreciation and different rewards and shields, the press archive of the articles he wrote and those written about him, in addition to his correspondences with foreign and Arab intellectuals and the contracts of his publications.
This project is part of the Memory of Modern Egypt Project.
