Bibliotheca Alexandrina: The Revival of the Ancient Library of Alexandria Exhibition has been touring various libraries in the city of Helsinki, Finland, since 2 August and will go on till 31 December 2004. The exhibition was jointly organized by the Helsinki City Library and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) and is currently held at the Rikhardinkatu Library (1881), the first public library to be built in all the Nordic countries (Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden). From 28 September to 31 October 2004, the BA will visit the Helsinki Book Fair in the same area as both the Helsinki City Library and the Helsinki University Library.

During the Book Fair (which anticipates 30,000 visitors), a panel entitled "Sesam" will be arranged to convey to the Middle East how Finnish scientists are dealing with the projects of the day and how they are publishing the results to the public.
