The webinar reviews some of the work conducted by the Swedish mission, led by Dr. Maria Nilsson, which considerably added to the history of Gebel El-Silsila that extends on both sides of the Nile, between Edfu and Kom Ombo. It also aims to explore several previously unknown prehistoric sites, shed light on the process of inscription replication, and uncover new pavilions and Nile paintings that were studied and published by Dr. Mo’men Saad as part of his PhD thesis.
