Ambassador of the Philippines in a Visit to the BA

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina welcomed yesterday morning Ambassador Ezzedin Tago, Ambassador of the Philippines to Egypt, who was accompanied by a high-level diplomatic delegation from the Philippine Embassy in Cairo, on a visit to the Library.
The delegation toured the main reading area, and learned about the BA digital and technological projects. They also visited the Library’s museums and attended the Culturama show.
The delegation also visited the bust of José Rizal, which was gifted to the BA by the Embassy of the Philippines in June 2015.
