World Mental Health Day Workshops at the BA

The BA Library Sector is organizing a World Mental Health Day celebration at its Conference Center. The celebration aims to raise awareness of mental health issues, mobilize efforts to support the individual's psyche, eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness, and build a healthier, supportive, inclusive, and positive mental health society.
The celebration includes the following workshops held in cooperation with Fahim Foundation for Mental Health Support, the Jesuit Cultural Center in Alexandria, Sabeel Foundation, and Recovery Clinics:
- "Find Your Strength That Makes You Stand Out", presented by Dr. Ahmed Swailam, representative of Fahim Foundation for Mental Health Support, Consultant Psychiatrist, and member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists – (10 October 2024, 2:00 pm, Multipurpose Hall).
- "Cultural Activities and Volunteering, and their Role in Improving Mental Health", presented by Ms. Magdalene Samaan, Director of the Human Training and Volunteering Program at the Jesuit Cultural Center – (10 October 2024, 4:00 pm, Multipurpose Hall).
- "The Health of Relationships", presented by Ms. Wafaa Abdel Latif, Director of the Training and Awareness Department at Recovery Clinics – (10 October 2024, 6:00 pm, Multipurpose Hall).
