The BA Receives Greece’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs

The BA received Mr. Giorgos Kotsiras, Greece’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his accompanying high-level delegation.
The delegation was received by Ms. Heba El-Rafey, Acting Head of the BA External Relations and Media Sector, who took the guests on a tour of the Library and its various departments. She also presented Mr. Kotsiras with a copy of the book The Photographic Memory of Alexandria.
At the end of the tour, the Greek Deputy Foreign Minister and the accompanying delegation expressed their delight at visiting the BA, and showed their admiration for the cultural and historical treasures they witnessed. They also praised the cultural and enlightening role played by the Library, considering it a vital center that connects different cultures and promotes dialogue and understanding among peoples.
