Donation to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) from the National Human Rights Committee of Qatar

Alexandria — the BA has received a valuable collection donated by the National Human Rights Committee of Qatar. The donation includes a variety of the committee’s publications; including brochures on the Anti-Torture Agreements, the Universal Declaration on Human Rights, and some reports on the Status of Human Rights in Qatar in 2004. The donation also includes brochures on the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the International Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights, and the first issue of the periodical issued by the Committee on Human Rights.
