The Second Woman Festival Celebrates the Centennial of Fatma Rushdi

The BA Arts Center organizes the Second Woman Festival during the period from 8 March (International Woman Day) to 16 March (Egyptian Woman Day). The Festival features 31 films from 17 countries; 17 narrative films and 14 documentaries, 12 of which are Egyptian and two are co-produced by Brazil, Spain and the USA.
The short Mexican film “Watching It Rain”, directed by Elisa Miller, winner of Palme d'Or at the 60th edition of the Cannes Film Festival will be shown in the Festival’s inaugural session, along with “Oum Kalthoum”, USA documentary, directed by Michal Goldman.
The Festival celebrates the centennial of Fatma Rushdi with an Exhibition for her photos, documents and film posters.
