"The Future of Alexandria” Symposium and Exhibition at the BA

In the framework of the BA’s concern for the future of Alexandria and as part of the cooperation between the BA and the governorate of Alexandria, the Library will hold a symposium and an exhibition on the future of Alexandria on Tuesday, 25 March 2008, to discuss the future projects for the development of the city. General Adel Labib, Governor of Alexandria, Dr. Mona Serageldin, Urban Planning Expert at Harvard University, USA, a group of specialists from the Architecture Committee of the Supreme Council for Culture, and a delegation of Arab urban planning experts will attend.
The seminar will start at 19:00 hrs at BA Conference Center, Delegates Hall.
The exhibition will be held at the BA Conference Center, East Exhibition Hall.
