The Fourth International Forum on Calligraphy, Writings and Inscriptions “Coins in the World” at the BA

The BA Calligraphy Center is organizing the Fourth International Forum on Calligraphy, Writings and Inscriptions, 16-18 March 2009. The Forum’s theme will be “Coins in the World”.
The Forum aims to strengthen the dialogue that has been going on about the history of banknotes and coins, recognizing the different inscriptions and writings on coins in the world.
The Forum will be accompanied by two exhibitions from 16 to 31 March 2009.
For those who are interested in the history of coins, the BA Calligraphy Center will be pleased to host different and rare collections from Museums, Exhibitions and any other organizations related to this field.
The Forum will cover the following topics, namely:
• The origin of coins
• Coin mintage
• Coins inscriptions
• Banknotes
