“Solar Energy, the Primadonna Power” a Lecture at the BA

The BA Planetarium Science Center (PSC) is organizing a lecture titled, “Solar Energy, the Primadonna Power”, by Dr. Hermann Scheer, on Wednesday 9 July 2008.
The lecture will illustrate the potentials of Photovoltaic (PV) renewable energy. Although PV generates a small percentage of the total supply of renewable energy, it is the most promising technology to overcome global energy crisis. Solar energy radiation is directly utilized in every corner of the globe. Hence it offers free access to energy and electricity necessary for modern life.
The Lecture will start at 11.00 am at the BA Conference Center, Small Theatre.
