“Alexandria: City of Nostalgia” in a Lecture at the BA

The BA’s Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center (Alex-Med) is organizing on Wednesday, 9 July 2008, the eleventh lecture of “Thinking the Mediterranean” series under the title “Alexandria: City of Nostalgia”.
The Lecture will be given by two speakers: Mr. Osama Anwar Okasha, leading Egyptian Television Script Writer and Mr. Harry Tzalas (Greece), President of the Hellenic Institute of Ancient and Medieval Alexandrian Studies. Mr. Tzalas’s will speak about “Literary Alexandria and Nostalgic Alexandrian Literature”.
Thinking the Mediterranean series presents two points of view on the Mediterranean; one from the North and the other from the South. These events are published on the Internet and broadcasted via several TV channels.
The Lecture will start at 19:00 hrs at the BA Conference Center, Lectures Hall.
