Scientific and Cultural Workshops for Youth at the BA

Alexandria— The BA is holding a series of scientific workshops as part of the Youth for Environmental Sustainability and Better Understanding (YESBU) Program, organized by the BA Advisors Department, and supervised by Dr. Salah Soliman, Professor of Pesticide Chemistry and Toxicology, Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University. The workshops enlighten youth in different cultural and educational areas and help them acquire new skills.

A Workshop on “Writing” will be held on Tuesday, 5 August 2008. Dr. Salah Soliman stated that this workshop teaches school and faculty students professional skills for writing reports and official letters (technical writing). In addition to a workshop, 10-14 August 2008 on “Computers” teaching various computer programs to help youth keep up with the 21st century technologies.

From 13 to 25 August 2008, the BA will hold a workshop on various graphic programs to teach students Photoshop and Swift, to provide youth with different skills to help them enter the labor market.

The Workshops will start at 17:00 hrs at the BA Conference Center, Multipurpose Hall.
