"Smart Grid: The Future Distribution Network" in a Lecture at the BA

The BA Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) is organizing on Tuesday 26 August 2008, a lecture entitled "Smart Grid: The Future Distribution Network" by Dr. Mohamed El-Sharkawi, Professor of Electrical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Washington, USA.
The Lecture explains "Smart Grid", which is a transformed electricity transmission and distribution network or "grid" that uses robust two-way communications, advanced sensors, and distributed computers to improve the efficiency, reliability and safety of power delivery and use.
The Lecture will start at 13:00 hrs at the BA Auditorium.
