Teaching Hieroglyphics to Children and Young People

the Children’s and Young People’s (YP) Libraries at the Bibliotheca
Alexandrina are holding a Hieroglyphics teaching workshop for children from age
8 through 12. The workshop will take place from the 25th- 29th
of January.
Organized in collaboration with the Calligraphy Center in the Bibliotheca
Alexandrina the workshop will be supervised by Dr. Rania Marziban, Professor at
the Faculty of Tourism, Alexandria University. During the workshop, children
will be introduced to the ancient Egyptian language as well as different aspects
of ancient Egypt.
