Alexandria—The BA Special Projects Department, in cooperation with the Studio Section, produced a documentary film narrating the life of late Egyptian President Mohamed Anwar El-Sadat. The 26 minute film, entitled Sadat, starts with his early years in the Egyptian village of Mit Abul Kom, recounts the period of his presidency from 1970, and ends with his assassination in 1981.

The documentary was produced in 2009, and the Premiere took place last February at the Sadat Museum inaugural ceremony. Soon to be released on DVD, the film will be available to the public in the BA Bookshop.

It is worth mentioning that the BA Bookshop, located in the BA Main Building, offers a collection of BA Publications, in addition to Egyptian history and civilization books, and a variety of souvenirs.
