Call for Application for the Alexandrina World Music Festival 2010

Alexandria— The BA Arts Center is organizing the Second World Music Festival “Europe-Mediterranean” from 23 to 28 April 2010.
The Festival aims at establishing a “colorful map of music” in the consciousness and taste of the public and participating musicians. It would also provide possibilities for musicians to experience the potential of developing diverse musical trends, free from the moral pressure of official institutions and the financial pressure of commercialism. Artists, scholars, critics and specialized journalists would share their experiences and promote cross-cultural collaborations and insights.
Individuals and groups who would like to participate in the Festival should fill in the attached application form, as well as either a CD or DVD of the proposed performance.
